Meet Premier Junk Movers

Premier Junk Movers is a family-owned junk removal company run by me and my sons, serving homeowners, families, realtors, property managers, and businesses throughout Maricopa County. We’re here to make getting rid of unwanted stuff simple, from a single item to a full property cleanout, and we believe in honest pricing, professional service, and treating people like neighbors.

Family and first-responder owned

For us, it means there’s a lot of pride in what we do. When you’re working alongside your sons and building something together, you want to do things the right way because your name is attached to it.

My background as a first responder also shaped how I look at service. Show up when you say you’re going to show up, communicate, stay calm when things get complicated, take care of people, and leave the situation better than you found it. That’s what we try to bring to every job.

What consumers should look for

Don’t just look at the price. Ask who you’re actually hiring.

I’d recommend checking that the company is properly licensed and insured, has the appropriate permits required for the work they’re doing, and has a legitimate track record of reviews from real customers. I’d also ask what is actually included in the price. Does it include the labor, loading, hauling, and disposal? Are there additional fees?

A really low number can sound great, but the important question is, “What am I actually getting for that price?”

Proudest job type: estate and difficult home cleanouts

Definitely estate and difficult home cleanouts.

Those jobs can be about a lot more than junk. Sometimes we’re helping a family clear the home of someone they just lost. Other times we’re helping someone who has been overwhelmed by the condition of their home for years.

Those situations require a different approach. You have to have patience and understand that there’s a person and a story behind the stuff you’re hauling away. We always say, “Compassion First. Cleanout Second.” That’s something I’m really proud of with our company.

Recycling and donations

We try not to look at everything as just “trash.”

If something is still usable, we’ll look for opportunities to donate it or keep it out of the landfill when we can. That might be furniture, household items, appliances, or other things that still have some life left in them.

We can’t donate everything, of course, and disposal depends on the item and where it can properly go, but if there’s an opportunity to give something a second life, we’d rather do that than automatically throw it away.

Staying reliable for same-day / next-day

A lot of planning, a lot of flexibility, and a lot of communication.

We run a pretty tight schedule, but we also know that junk removal doesn’t always go exactly as planned. One job can take longer than expected, traffic happens, access can be difficult, or a customer may have more stuff than they originally realized.

We communicate with customers throughout the day and try to build enough flexibility into our schedule to handle those things without letting one problem snowball into the rest of the day.

And honestly, having my sons working alongside me helps. We’re a family crew, so everybody knows that the job matters and everybody has to pull their weight.

Practical tip before pickup

Don’t worry about making everything look perfect before we arrive.

The biggest thing is just making sure we can safely access the items. If there are gates, stairs, narrow hallways, or other access issues, let us know ahead of time. And if you’re not sure whether we can take something, just ask.

I also recommend taking a few photos before scheduling. It makes it much easier for us to understand what you have, plan for the job, and give you an accurate estimate.

What Arizona consumers should know

I’d say don’t be afraid to ask questions.

You should feel comfortable knowing who is coming to your home, what they’re going to charge, what’s included, and what happens to your stuff after they take it.

And don’t assume you have to figure everything out before you call us. Sometimes people call and say, “I honestly don’t even know where to start.”

That’s okay.

Tell us what’s going on. Send us some pictures. We’ll talk through it with you and help figure out the best solution.

At the end of the day, we’re not just moving junk. A lot of the time, we’re helping people make a transition, cleaning up after a move, preparing a home for sale, dealing with an estate, getting a property ready for a new tenant, or simply helping someone finally reclaim their space.

That’s what Premier is really about.
